Colin Mercer - Construction Director

Colin Mercer

Colin will oversee that all projects, both pre and post tender, receive the correct attention to detail. He will ensure each is meticulously planned, programmed and procured to ensure that the project runs as expected. Colin will direct several projects, using his extensive management and site planning experience to identify potential site issues and take corrective action minimising site delays and costs. more >>

Mark Dunlop - Commercial Director

Mark Dunlop

Mark will oversee the commercial aspects of all projects; both pre and post tender, to ensure all client expectations are achieved. He will ensure each is meticulously planned, programmed and procured to ensure that the project runs as expected. Mark will direct several projects, using his extensive management and project planning experience to ensure suitably qualified and experienced sub-contractors are procured and managed for the benefit of the project. more >>

Kirsten Bell - Finance Director

Kirsten Bell

Kirsten is responsible for all financial aspects of Bancon Construction, including financial reporting, funding, corporate governance and financial planning. She ensures there is a sound financial control environment within the business and timely prepares management accounting information for the Senior Management Team. Kirsten works closely with the commercial teams to ensure accurate reporting of contract performance and forecasts of future contract performance. more >>

Stewart Ferguson - Specialist Works Director

Stewart Ferguson

Stewart provides direction to the Specialist Works Division of Bancon Construction and ensures effective management of the day to day activities within those areas of operation. Les Smith - Chief Estimator

Les Smith

It is Les's responsibility to oversee all aspects of the Estimating Department within Bancon Construction Ltd. Les provides direction to his team and ensures effective management of the day to day activities within the Estimating Department. He is involved with a project from the initial issue of tender documents through to the handover stage where key personnel in the business take the project to the next phase. Les works with the management team to secure profitable work for the company and fosters good relationships with Clients, Industry Professionals, Labour Force, Sub-Contractors and Suppliers. more >>

Paul Clark - Technical Manager

Paul Clark

Paul is responsible for seeing projects through from feasibility to Planning & Building Approvals stage and on through the Construction Phase to Handover; liaising directly with Clients, Design Teams, Local Authorities, Subcontractors and other Project Stakeholders. Paul provides technical and design support though the tendering and construction activities to enhance project buildability and injecting fresh thinking to value engineering and improvement of detailing/finishing works and ensuring the design information is of the right quality and delivered to meet project timescales. more >>

Steve Dziewialtowski - Contracts Manager

Steve Dziewialtowski

Our Contracts Manager Steve will be responsible for the management, administration and successful delivery of construction projects to the client within the agreed time scale and to the highest quality whilst operating within a safe environment. Douglas McPherson - Contracts Manager

Douglas McPherson

Douglas main responsibilities are to manage the day-to-day operational aspects of multiple and large scale construction projects. He oversees the businesses projects and ensures quality assurance procedures are in place with Bancon Construction's standards, reporting back to the Senior Management Team. more >>

Sophia Siwek - Business Development

Sophia Siwek

Sophia's main responsibilities are to provide Business Development and Marketing strategic support to Bancon Construction to increase and deliver opportunities to win construction projects. Sophia is responsible for networking, building relationships, safeguarding existing clients and liaising with potential clients. more >>

Phil Stott - Specialist Works Operations Manager

Phil Stott

Phil is responsible for all matters relating to the day to day running of maintenance and small works contracts within the Specialist Works division of Bancon Construction. Phil manages scope and aims to mitigate risk across projects. more >>

Ray Turner - M&E and Renewables Manager

Ray Turner

Ray oversees the management of the mechanical, electrical and renewable energy division of Bancon Construction. He manages the daily management and development of the mechanical, electrical and renewables team ensuring effective delivery of our services to all our clients. Ray also fosters new relationships within the industry, spreading the word of Renewable Energy and its benefits. more >>

Nick Sangster - Specialist Works Quantity Surveying Manager

Nick Sangster

Nick is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of Surveying in connection with the works carried out by the Specialist Works department of Bancon Construction. These include small projects and maintenance contracts for local authorities and housing associations as well as private and public sector projects. more >>
