This project involved the complete refurbishment of reception and upper floors of the existing Oil and Gas Technology Centre building. Works included down takings, structural alterations and the installation of new shower and washroom facilities, kitchen facilities, finishes, bespoke furniture, decoration and new floor coverings.
Due to the works being carried out within a live operational building the refurbishment was carried out over three phases.
“Everyone has been blown away with the space and how it looks and feels. I want to pass on our thanks for such a great job – done well, on time and on budget. We are truly delighted with our new space and can already see how the environment is having such a positive impact on our culture and ways of working at the OGTC”
Nicola McIntosh, Finance & Commercial Director, OGTC (Client Project Manager)
“Working with Bancon on our refurbishment project was a success from start to finish. Not only was the work delivered on time and within budget, it was delivered safely despite having to work in around more than 40 people in a busy office environment.
The delivery team was second to none and we’re very happy with the results, creating a workplace that people are proud to be a part of. The communication between Bancon, the Principal Architects and ourselves was exceptional, each decision that had to be made was taken together with the clear goal in mind of delivering the project to a high standard. The OGTC Board and all our visitors (over 8,000 per year) all comment on what an impact the changes have made.”
