Crown Commercial Services is the biggest public procurement organisation in the UK assisting buyers in central government, public and third sector organisations with their purchases.
This Framework covers 11 lots of varying levels of complexity and value of work from up to £3m through to £80m and over, including general construction and specialist areas.
Bancon has been awarded a place on the framework for new build residential covering the whole of Scotland.
The framework supports the implementation of government policies and strategies:
- building information modelling (BIM)
- life cycle cost
- prompt payment
- project bank accounts
- early contractor involvement
- social value
It also aligns suppliers and customers in achieving agreed success measures for each lot. Advanced alliance facilities are included to increase the potential for consistency, efficiency, improved value and lessons learned by integrating or connecting:
- a programme of work comprising more than one project to be awarded to one or more suppliers
- the design, capital and operational phases of any one or more projects, to be awarded to one or more suppliers
The Framework, which commenced in 2019 runs for 7 years.
