New Build Housing Construction (H2)

Bancon Construction are delighted to announce our appointment to the Scottish Procurement Alliance’s New Build Housing Construction Framework (H2).

Scottish Procurement Alliance (SPA)

SPA is part of the LHC Group, which has been supporting public sector organisations with technical procurement for over 50 years. After consultation with a range of stakeholders, the Scottish Procurement Alliance was formed and officially launched in March 2016.

SPA is now the largest, free-to-join procurement organisation representing over 100 public sector organisations throughout Scotland, ranging from small Co-operatives, to regional and national RSLs and Local Authorities. SPA specialise in procurement solutions for the construction, maintenance and refurbishment of social housing and public buildings.

The Framework commences August 2022, running for four years and will include the development of new build housing projects, including, houses, bungalows, flats, apartments, sheltered accommodation, care homes, student accommodation, refurbishment, conversions, extensions and adaptions and associated works including development agreements and land purchases. This will replace the existing H1 Housing Framework.

  • Care homes, extra care and supporting living accommodation
  • Student accommodation
  • Conversion of commercial buildings for residential use

  • Development agreements and land purchases.
  • Associated civil engineering and Infrastructure works – where required for development of the site

Peter Barron, Business Development Director said: “We are delighted to have secured a place on this framework.
