This framework has been developed to support the delivery of local authorities Strategic Housing Investment Plans which supports the Scottish Government’s Affordable Housing supply Programme to deliver 50,000 affordable homes by 2021. Developed in conjunction with 11 funding councils, the framework includes the delivery of new build residential properties, primarily social housing via traditional build and design and build contracts covering five lots i.e.:
- Lot 1: Development of 1-15 Units (build only)
- Lot 2: Development of 1-15 Units (Design & Build)
- Lot 3: Development of 16-25 Units
- Lot 4: Development of 26-40 Units
- Lot 5: Development of 41 Units
Properties delivered under the framework include terraced, semi-detached and detached houses, cottage flats, bungalows and up to 5 storey flats, these can be called off using direct award or mini competition. Members can also procure care homes, supported living accommodation, student accommodation and temporary accommodation
Bancon Construction has been awarded a place on this Framework in the following areas:
- Aberdeen City
- Dundee City
- Highlands & Islands
- North Lanarkshire
- Perth & Kinross
- South Lanarkshire
This Framework is available to all Scotland Excel members, associate members and other participating bodies with a mechanism to procure new build residential construction projects.
