Scottish Procurement Alliance Housing Framework

Following a rigorous procurement process, Bancon Construction have been awarded a place on this multi-million-pound Scottish Procurement Alliance (SPA) H1 Framework for new build housing and residential accommodation throughout Scotland over three project sizes i.e.

  • up to 15 units
  • 16-49 units
  • 50 units and over

The framework has been developed to assist the Scottish Government’s target to deliver 50,000 new homes by 2021 and enables any publicly funded body in Scotland to appoint framework contractors directly or through mini-competition across a range of contract options.  Bancon Constructions’ appointment includes the following regions:

  • Dundee
  • East Lothian
  • Edinburgh City
  • Falkirk
  • Fife
  • Highlands & Islands
  • Midlothian
  • Moray
  • Perth & Kinross

  • West Lothian

The £1.5bn framework commenced in 2018 and runs until 2022 and will cover various new build projects for local authorities, housing associations and other public bodies requiring housing or residential properties across Scotland.

An articulated pupil ship with John Laing Construction launched his career that has seen him employed by 5 of the UKs top 50 Contractors. 20 years as a construction planner added to a wealth of multi-sector construction management experience, enables Colin to effectively lead his site teams through the most complex of projects, safely and efficiently. He is passionate about achieving customer satisfaction and developing talent through the UK construction industry.
