Denmore Road Aberdeen

The key aim of the project was to alter & refurbish two linked existing factory units with office provision constructed from a steel frame with masonry and high-level cladding. Separate these for individual lease (infill of adjoining party wall) and refurbish throughout by undertaking the following general work scope:

  • Asbestos roof sheet removal with insulated replacement, roof lights and lightning protection. Perimeter scaffold to be provided.
  • Asbestos removal internally (various locations) within the buildings.
  • Removal of the previous tenants remaining equipment and deep clean all internal areas.
  • Alter existing office space from a multiple room structure to a more modern open plan environment (full refurbishment) with steel supporting frames and lightweight suspended ceilings, kitchen provision, redecoration and floor finishes.
  • Window & door replacement throughout.
  • Various  M & E upgrades
  • High level façade cleaning / decoration
  • Entrance door “roller shutter” over-hall / refurbishment

Live Environment

There are neighbouring / adjoining occupied properties / premises with mutual car parking to the front of the building. Our Site Manager held weekly / or as necessary dialogue with the adjoining neighbours to ensure they were aware of the intended scope of work and traffic management.
