Mintlaw Community Centre

The new building provides much needed community accommodation including a large community multi-purpose hall with large and small conference rooms, recreation foyer, café and kitchen, changing rooms, leisure gym suite and soft play equipment all for general public use.  The accommodation is suitable for various sports, dance classes and has the scope for a cinema and concerts. It also has conference and computer facilities, a cafe, and a soft play area.

The building was constructed over two stories with concrete foundation raft slab, set upon driven steel piles, steel frame structure, with timber kit infills, incorporating timber glulam feature rafter beams, and external composite standing seam roof cladding and a mixture of external render and timber lining facades.
