Gavin is Managing Director of Bancon Construction and a Director of Bancon Group. He has over 25 years’ experience within the Construction sector spread across the UK and has been involved in many iconic projects with Top 20 contractors and some of the UK’s best-known buildings. A Chartered Director with a clear focus on strategy, leadership and building a business with a strong team ethos ingrained with best in industry performance. Gavins’ drive and strong values ensures success for all stakeholders.
Richard has significant experience and knowledge in the construction industry. He has delivered successful projects from concept to completion, mainly in the North East as well as a proven record on National Projects. Richard is well-balanced, approachable and has an enviable arsenal of skills and attributes that compliments him in his role as Commercial Director. As well as a focused approach to successful projects, Richard is driven to encourage the ‘next’ generation with his enthusiasm and drive to develop his staff.
Kirsten is the Finance Director of Bancon Construction and has 20 years’ experience in the construction industry. Kirsten joined Mansell Construction one month before passing her professional accountancy exams. She progressed from management accountant to financial controller, and when the company was acquired by Balfour Beatty, played a key role in the migration of systems and processes. Kirsten has an in depth understanding of accounting within a contracting environment, with a focus on process and financial risk management. Kirsten works closely with the commercial team to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting of project performance, and provides a key liaison point with the wider Bancon Group.
Colin has been in continuous employment within the UK Building and Construction industry since 1985. An articulated pupil ship with John Laing Construction launched his career that has seen him employed by 5 of the UKs top 50 Contractors. 20 years as a construction planner added to a wealth of multi-sector construction management experience, enables Colin to effectively lead his site teams through the most complex of projects, safely and efficiently. He is passionate about achieving customer satisfaction and developing talent through the UK construction industry.
