We are extremely proud to present our two volunteers; Dawn Kane, Business Development Manager and Ray Turner, Framework Director who have recently confirmed their commitment to the Career Ready Mentoring Programme, helping to transform young peoples lives.
Ray and Dawn have been PVG checked and are currently being matched with a suitable individual from a school either in Aberdeen City or Shire. They will both meet their mentee on Tuesday 17th November 2022 at the P&J Live.
The mentoring programme supports young people aged 15-17 (S5/S6) involving a series of monthly meetings, each one building on the last, between a young person and our volunteers. Each meeting lasts an hour and focuses on a different aspect of the student’s career and education journey.
Together, mentors and mentees speak about their different career options and pathways, the world of work, and the skills needed to kickstart a rewarding future.
The programme will commence in October 2022 running through to March 2024, ending with a four week paid internship with the business for each mentee.
