Vision

The vision for Cloverhill is to create a new sustainable community, sitting between Bridge of Don and Aberdeen beach, providing a high quality, sustainable and healthy lifestyle for its residents, businesses and the wider community.

Scope of Work

The works comprise the construction of 536 plots together with 3 retail units and a community hall, a 3G sports pitch and space for a changing room, allocated space for a Men’s Shed and allotments, and all associated roads, footpaths, street lighting and street furniture. The new housing is 100% affordable, will be delivered in phases, with a mix of two-storey terrace, semi-detached houses, cottage flats and three-storey apartment blocks.

Gold Standard

All new homes are designed to meet the Gold Level of Sustainability under current Building Regulations, 81 no. properties are designed in accordance with Housing for Varying Needs, ‘General’ and ‘Wheelchair’ adaptable needs, including dementia friendly homes.

As part of this project, Bancon Construction ltd (BCL) has committed to delivering community benefits which are aligned to the principles of sustainability and to working with Aberdeen City council and partner organisations to ensure these benefits are maximised.
